The ARX Sports Association design is rooted in the idea of reimagining Black ownership in professional sports — specifically through the lens of a fictional team we call The Monarchs. This concept uses the framework of a “team” not just in the athletic sense, but as a symbol of unity, purpose, and collective power working toward a shared vision.

We chose to focus on baseball as a tribute to the Negro Baseball League, a vital part of Black American history that showcased Black excellence and resilience in a segregated sports era. By revisiting this legacy, we aim to reclaim what was stripped away and redefine what a Black-owned sports league could look like today — inclusive, community-driven, and culturally rooted.

The ARX Sports Association design is more than apparel — it’s a statement of identity, memory, and a future reimagined.
